Short version: Water Table is a kids puzzle game. We collect almost nothing — no name, no email, no location, no advertising identifier. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking. The game runs locally on your device. You can buy the full game once for a one-time price; that purchase is processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as described below for parent-provided contact email.

What We Collect
From the device, automatically
Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated identifier that lives on your device and is included with crash reports and cloud-save bundles. It is not linked to your name, email, or advertising ID.
Game progress and save data — which levels you completed, scoring, current settings. Stored locally on your device. Optionally uploaded to our cloud-save service in encrypted form when you turn cloud sync on.
Crash and performance data — when the game crashes or runs slowly, we receive a non-linked diagnostic payload containing the stack trace, device model, OS version, and the anonymous device identifier above. We use this to fix bugs and improve performance.
From you, only if you provide it
Parent or guardian email address — collected only through a parental-gate consent flow if you choose to enable cloud-save or other features that need it. Used only for save-restoration and account recovery, never for marketing.
Purchase receipts — when you buy the full unlock, Apple or Google sends us an anonymous receipt token. We use it to verify your purchase and grant the unlock. We do not receive your full name, billing address, or payment-card information.
What We Do Not Collect
No name, postal address, phone number, or government identifier.
No advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID). The app does not request the App Tracking Transparency permission.
No precise location data.
No microphone or camera input.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There is no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no Sentry, no Bugsnag, no Crashlytics.
No social-network integration.
No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
How We Use What We Collect
To run the game and synchronize your saved progress across your own devices.
To diagnose and fix crashes and performance problems.
To validate purchases and grant the corresponding unlock.
To respond to your privacy requests and security disclosures.
How Long We Keep Things
Cloud-save bundles: kept while your device is active. If your device has not synchronized for 24 months, we delete the bundle from our servers. You can request deletion at any time.
Crash and performance samples: aggregated and retained for up to 90 days, then discarded.
Purchase receipt records: retained for the duration required by Apple, Google, and US tax law (typically seven years), then discarded.
Children's Privacy (COPPA, GDPR-K, AADC)
Water Table is designed for children. We comply with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as it applies to children (GDPR-K), and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC).
We collect minimal personal information from any user, child or adult.
For features that require a parent's email (such as cloud sync), we route the request through a verifiable parental gate and obtain parental consent before collection.
Parents can email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete their child's information at any time.
We do not direct advertising to children; in fact, we do not run advertising at all.
Where Your Information Lives
Water Table Game LLC is a US-based limited liability company. Information is processed on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare. Cloudflare's edge network spans the United States, Europe, and other regions; the primary data store for cloud saves is in the United States. By using the app you understand and agree to this processing arrangement.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct it if it's wrong
Delete it
Receive a copy in a portable format
Object to or restrict certain processing

Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy in a way that materially affects your rights or how we use your information, we will notify users through the app and update the "Last updated" date above. The current version is always at watertablegame.com/privacy.
